In partnership with Work of Art Holdings®, Beach Sessions Dance Series returned to Rockaway Beach for its 11th season with a site-specific commission by choreographer Kim Brandt. Set in the shifting space between land and water, Brandt’s work explored perception, transience, and the fluid nature of physical borders. 

Kim Brandt is a New York–based artist whose performance work has been presented at MoMA PS1, SculptureCenter, The Kitchen, Artists Space, and Pioneer Works, among others. She is a recipient of the Irving Sandler Prize and a Princeton University Hodder Fellowship.
