Unveiled at the 2025 Art Arena Summit, powered by WOAH®, artist sonia louise davis—in collaboration with WNBA star Breanna Stewart—created a site-specific handball court mural at the Seaside Playground and Beach 59th Street Playground in Rockaway. Rooted in Davis’s improvisational practice and featuring line drawings from local youth workshops, the abstract design anchors the playground’s inclusive redesign with a celebration of movement, accessibility, and community care.
